Thought it might be a modded one, but seems not. If on automatic, well, as Nono54Fr says, check you don't have the retarder on (game should warn you about that, though). The truck doesn't matter. ANY truck in the game will go faster than that with any load.

There are mods for ATS that fix this problem, I'm sure Euro2 has a mod also because real trucks don't act this way. These are powerful engines; you'd need to either pop the clutch (like your foot slips off the pedal) or forget to take off the spring/parking brakes to make them stall. #16.
